ILM Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management
The Certificate in First Line Management aims to formally develop the skills and knowledge of practising and potential Managers.
There are no formal educational entry requirements but participants will normally be either practising or aspiring first line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands.
Course Content
The full certificate takes a minimum of 20 days and consists of an induction, three compulsory units, a selection of units from the remaining 30, and tutorial support. Each programme will have a primary tutor to guide the group through their learning and assessment.

Assessment
* Work Based Assignment, plus a Change Management Report
* Assessment of Each of the Optional Units
Timetable
Timescales are flexible according to professional and business needs.
We recommend the following timetable options:
Option 1
One or two days per week or fortnight
Option 2
Three days (one module) once a fortnight, or once a month
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements but participants will normally be either be practising or potential line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands and a background which will enable them to benefit from the programme.
We also strongly recommend access to the use of a computer for assignments.
