ILM Level 2 Award in Team Leading
(Previously Introductory Certificate in Team Leading)
This is a short, flexible programme for all team workers, especially those with team leading or co-ordinating responsibilities.
Course Content
The Award in Team Leading consists of Developing Yourself
as a Team Leader and a choice further units selected from the 21 available
in the full Certificate
in Team Leading.
This programme provides an introduction to team leading/co-ordinating skills, and is equally valuable for improving the performance of all those who work inside today's teams.
How Long will it Take?
The ILM Level 2 Award in Team Leading may take from as little as three days up to two months.
Timescales are flexible according to professional and business needs.
We recommend the following timetable options which include a two hour induction assessment:
Option 1
Four days - one day per week for one month or one day per fortnight for two months
Option 2
Three day block - this will include homework and longer training days to meet the required guided learning hours.
Option 3
Seven half days - with a longer day one to include the induction
Assessment
* A reflective review of the programme and reviews of each of the optional units
Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements, but participants ideally should be working in teams, though not necessarily in a leadership role, and have a background which will enable them to benefit from the programmme.
